Yes it's late. Yes parts suck tortoise* shells. But it's up finally. Starting to get a grip on how to do these better. Don't think I'll ever think I have a grip on it though.

I noticed that we had come up out of the 700s on the BCx list, and I thought that was a little strange, so I went to look at the stats, and I know that five hits are from that LJ post I made (somebody reads that shit?) and another ... looks like seven have been curious enough to poke my forum profile with a stick, over at non-essential. And at least some of you have thought well of this horrorshow, if we're up into the low 600s, now.

Checking my mail today, I noticed an article in the sidebar about some golfers getting hit by lightning. Apparently all 19 of them decided to head back up to the range in a small group, and when one was hit, they all got seconds. It also mentions in passing that a man was hit and killed by lightning on a driving range last year.

What does this say to me? It says that I should never take up golfing, unless I'm golfing with politicians.

Well, in the bizarre news for the day, I've just found out that two of my uncles had heart attacks in the last three weeks, and nobody bothered to mention it, at the time. This *shouldn't* delay the comic, but England still might. ;>

For those of you who haven't seen it, and have wondered where the hell "ceiling fan" as an interjection came from, I give you "Happy Fun Song".

England says there will be more comic-y goodness some time around next Wednesday. I don't know if I believe it, but, we'll see.

Less filled with spite, on this end. The overhaul is almost finished, although England and I both have a few things left to fix. Yes, I know that colour doesn't match, and I also know that the donate button is biffed up. I need to go poke PayPal with sticks for a while.

You will notice, though, that we have a vote button for BCx. Please press it. :) That, at least, works.

Now, if you'll excuse me, England is home, and I have some fabulous things to do involving food.

Ok, back to normal at last... or close enough. The contest is over, no one entered it. The site overhaul is late because England's sister had an emergency wedding...
